Our Mission

According to recent papers published in the journals Science and Nature, the majority of COVID transmission occurs through people who don’t know that they’re infected.

One of the main ways that we can slow down the virus’ spread is to enable large-scale, inexpensive, widely-available testing that can be done in the home by untrained individuals.

Working with our philanthropic partners, we expect to make this test free for those that cannot afford it.

Our mission is to save lives, lessen the burden on the healthcare system, and allow the economy to function normally again.

What we are doing

We are creating a home test kit for the novel coronavirus, which will give test results through a mobile application in 30 minutes.

The user will take a mouth or throat swab, and place that swab into a tube following instructions from the mobile app.

We detect the virus’s genetic material, so our test will register as soon as a person contracts the virus. An infected person can also take our test during their recovery to determine when their body had successfully cleared the virus.
